CMO Moves Mid July Update

In the first two weeks of July, 15 new CMOs were appointed, including 11 women and 4 men. Notably, 5 were internal promotions, and 6 are first-time CMOs.

These appointments spanned 14 industries, with Spectator Sports leading the pack with two hires. Geographically, Europe saw five major CMO hires, including at companies like Tactile Games and Electrolux, while California led in U.S. hires.

The spread across diverse sectors highlights the expanding role of CMOs in various business stages.

Key moves this month include Alessandro Manfredi leaving Dove after being with the company for two decades, and Stacey Andrade-Wells becoming CMO of Liquid I.V. U.S. Soccer and Formula E also announced new CMOs, reflecting a growing focus on sports marketing.
